Katie Romang, LCSW

Certified Women's Mental Health Specialist

Hi, I’m Katie. I have a passion for working with women and teens who seek to make a positive change in their lives. I care deeply about your experience in therapy and provide a comfortable, therapeutic space where you can express your thoughts, feelings, and needs. I want you to feel seen and validated and believe in a working relationship that fosters positive self-worth and empowerment.

I want to work with you to create achievable goals and provide tangible strategies to empower you in your daily life. My approach to therapy is holistic. In my office you will experience an emotional space for healing, self-realization, and empowerment. Your joy and peace are at the heart of my work. I am committed to helping you create lasting, positive changes in your life by helping to uncover your strengths, practice more self-compassion, and develop a healthier mindset to lead a more fulfilled, emotionally-balanced life.

I view my role as your therapist as such a privilege. I am grateful to sit with wonderful women and hear their stories in tender and vulnerable moments. I can’t wait to work with you!

With years of experience focusing on the specific challenges women face, Katie is particularly attuned to the pressures related to societal expectations, body image, work-life balance, pregnancy/postpartum, and identity. She specializes in anxiety disorders, depression, self-esteem/body-image issues, perinatal mood disorders, and trauma.

Katie’s therapeutic style is warm, supportive, and client-centered. She draws on evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness techniques that help target symptoms caused from anxiety and depression. She tailors these strategies to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Katie has a Masters Degree in Social Work from Illinois State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with previous experience as a Certified School Social Worker in a High School and Junior High setting.

She is a mother of 3 and enjoys spending time with her family and friends!

Lauren Henton, LCSW

Certified Women's Mental Health Specialist

Hi, I’m Lauren Henton, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Advanced Women’s Mental Health Specialist with more than a decade of experience walking alongside women as they rediscover their strength, their clarity, and their joy. Since 2013, I’ve dedicated my work to supporting women through seasons of expansion, healing, and self-reinvention.

My approach is intentionally eclectic—drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, solution-focused strategies, and the intuitive, relational wisdom I’ve gained from years of serving women and families across diverse settings. But above all, my work centers on your heart, your story, and your healing.

My clients describe me as warm, uplifting, and full of big, empowering energy. I believe deeply in the transformative power of owning your story and reconnecting with the parts of yourself that were always meant to shine. Whether navigating pregnancy, postpartum, trauma recovery, identity shifts, or any chapter of self-growth, I hold a space where women feel seen, supported, and gently guided back to their power.

Much of my experience has come from supporting mothers through pregnancy and postpartum, partnering with women who are rediscovering themselves after life transitions, and helping individuals heal from trauma with compassion and strength-based work. I am passionate about helping women activate their inner awareness, reclaim their confidence, and embody the fullest expression of their potential.

My ideal clients are women who crave more—more confidence, more clarity, more alignment, more emotional freedom. If you’re ready to expand into the highest, truest version of yourself, I would be honored to walk beside you.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and maintain active membership with Postpartum Support International and the National Association of Social Workers, where I have also earned certification as an Advanced Child, Youth, and Family Social Worker. A Central Illinois native and mother of two, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to the work I love.

Together, we’ll deepen your insight, cultivate resilience, and help you reconnect with the radiant, capable woman you’ve always been.
